Question by Ask a Physical Therapist: Baseball/softball batting cage facility without cages to stop the ball?
I had a batting cage facility near me that had no top net on their cages, thus allowing you to hit the ball out of the cage if hit well, ie high enough to get over the back net, and not so high that you hit the net directly over your head in the batters box. I am looking to find any and all facilities that have similar set-ups or have no netting past the batter’s box, IE just pitching machines/jugs guns allowing the full travel of the batted ball to occur. Similar to a golf driving range in regards to the open field feel versus a cage. Websites and/or locations of these facilities would be appreciated. Thanks all!!

I’m not so sure that the facilitie you were at was set up legally, if it is indoors I think it issupposed to have all the required safety nets in place.
